Data Architect

📌 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the foundational data architecture, pipelines, and models that power our central platform and its various solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring all data assets are reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. You will develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines, map data sources for seamless integration, and design optimal data models. Collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will translate requirements into scalable data solutions that meet stringent performance, governance, and quality standards. Your expertise will drive the continuous improvement of our data platforms through best practices in data engineering, metadata management, and pipeline automation.

🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

▸ 7–10 years of progressive experience in the data architecture domain, designing and governing large-scale data platforms.

▸ Proficiency in the Microsoft Azure Ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Fabric, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).

▸ Proven expertise in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

▸ Strong experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.

▸ Solid understanding of cloud-based data architectures such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Lake paradigms.

▸ Deep knowledge of data performance optimization techniques and security controls (e.g., row-level security, data masking, encryption).

▸ Experience with real-time data processing using technologies like Azure Streaming.

▸ Demonstrated ability to implement data reliability measures, including SLAs, retry mechanisms, and automated monitoring.

✨ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀:

▸ Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent certifications.

▸ Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, and Data Science teams.

▸ Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams.

▸ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

▸ Ability to align data architecture with business strategy and measurable outcomes.
