Required Skills

• Minimum 20 years of experience working in various aspects of IT Infrastructure and managing IT Infrastructure projects.
• Should be a graduate with Industry’s leading IT certifications.
• Experience with Education Sector IT Infrastructure Projects
• Experience with handling Network, Servers, Storage, Cybersecurity and SOC projects.
• Excellent technical skills for building IT Infrastructure architecture aligned with the Qatar Security standards.
• Arabic speakers are preferred
• Good understanding of networking systems, protocols, software and technologies including but not limited to Routers, Switches, WIFI networks, Load balancers, Firewalls, IP telephony systems, WAN technologies etc.
• Experience in handling multivendor security solutions.
• Sound knowledge in diagnosing complex network performance issues and working with Network Monitoring systems, Wireshark, and other network troubleshooting/performance benchmarking techniques.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Good Management Skills of managing a large team of engineers.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and network practices in a constantly evolving environment.
• Highly motivated and dedicated, capable of working with little instruction to resolve demanding tasks in coordination with internal teams.

Responsibilities

1. To engage with the customer to understand the needs and build the IT Infrastructure Solution that customers would accept based on their requirements and budget.
2. Maintain and track all the inventory and IT assets with identifying their Life cycle.
3. Manage a large team of Engineers and Support staff.
4. Define Key performance indicators for the team while ensuring that the team meets the KPI.
5. Adopt new technologies / Innovations for the organization to improve operations while enhancing security.
6. Handle Support escalations if required.
7. Ensure the documentation is maintained at all levels.
8. Help with the Audit and Incident management teams when required.
9. Compiling and presenting reports to the top management when required.
10. Ensure the maximum uptime of systems and availability of Data.
