Data Architect – Senior Level (15+ Years)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect (Senior / Expert Level) to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise data architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive background in data standards, governance, lakehouse/warehouse design, and alignment with national regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Design production-level data products, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and optimize data warehouses and data lakehouse platforms using Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Implement end-to-end data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time streaming, and CDC frameworks.
• Establish and maintain data governance practices, including:
• Data catalog
• Data lineage
• Data classification
• Data masking
• Metadata standards
• Ensure compliance with national standards such as:
• NORA
• NDMO
• DGA / SDAIA standards and policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and interoperability across the enterprise.
• Stay updated with AI/ML advancements and modern technology trends and apply them within the data architecture landscape.
• Support enterprise-wide architecture initiatives, reviews, and assessments in alignment with overall EA frameworks .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Governance, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of TOGAF, SDAIA/NDMO policies, and national data regulations.
• Expert in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Data Services
• Databricks / Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift
• ETL/ELT tools
• API-based integrations
• Strong understanding of data security, encryption, RLS, access control, and data privacy best practices.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ﷼30,000.00 - ﷼35,000.00 per month
