Data & BI Analyst

To support our expanding operations, we are looking for a Data&BI Analyst who can turn complex datasets into actionable insights, helping guide strategic decisions across the organisation. Role Overview: The Data&BI Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and visualising data from multiple sources to support business decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:  Gather, clean, and analyse data from various sources (databases, spreadsheets, APIs, etc.).  Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI / Tableau / Looker (depending on toolset).  Translate business needs into data models, KPIs, and meaningful insights.  Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.  Monitor and maintain data accuracy, quality, and consistency across systems.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, operations, leadership) to deliver data-driven solutions.  Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve organisational performance. Requirements:  Proven experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.  Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.  Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.  Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for advanced analysis.  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.  Ability to present insights clearly through data visualisation and storytelling.  Excellent communication skills, especially when translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.  Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote environment. Preferred Qualities:  Experience with Python or R for data analysis.  Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.  Knowledge of statistical methods and forecasting.  Previous work experience in non-profit, publishing, or digital industries.
