Data Engineering Manager with 6-7 years of experience to lead the design and delivery of scalable data platforms. This role blends hands-on data engineering, technical leadership, and people management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Own the end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion to consumption.
• Lead development of cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, monitoring, and optimization.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and guide architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver business insights.
• Mentor and manage a team of Data Engineers, including planning, reviews, and hiring.

Required Skills:

• Strong SQL, data modeling, and Python experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spark/Databricks and modern ETL/ELT tools.
• Experience working on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of distributed data systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control.
• BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
• Streaming platforms (Kafka, Event Hubs)
• Agile/Scrum experience

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance technical work with team leadership.
• Strong problem-solving and delivery ownership.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6-7 years of Data Engineering experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs300,000.00 - Rs500,000.00 per month
