Data Entry Associate

Job Summary

A Data Entry Associate is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining data in computer systems and databases. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and basic computer skills to ensure information is correctly recorded and organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data into computer systems, spreadsheets, or databases.
  • Verify the accuracy of data before entering it.
  • Update and maintain records and files.
  • Review data for errors and correct them when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Generate reports when required.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical documents.
  • Work with other departments to collect and update information.

Required Skills

  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and data management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of office equipment and software.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum High School Diploma or Intermediate.
  • Basic computer training or certification preferred.
  • Previous data entry or office work experience is an advantage.
