About Us

We are a local automotive business seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Data Entry & Office Assistant to support our daily office operations, QuickBooks entries, Excel tracking, and general administrative tasks.

This is a good opportunity for someone who is dependable, comfortable working with numbers, and able to follow instructions with accuracy. We are not looking for a full-charge bookkeeper. We need someone who can help keep records, files, schedules, and basic office systems organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update information in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Assist with invoice entry, payment tracking, and basic account updates
  • Maintain organized digital and paper records
  • Help track expenses, receipts, and vendor information
  • Support scheduling, phone calls, emails, and general office tasks
  • Assist with office supplies, document filing, and basic follow-up
  • Help keep internal records accurate and up to date
  • Communicate professionally with staff, vendors, and customers
  • Complete assigned remote administrative tasks during evening hours

Qualifications

  • Prior office, administrative, data entry, or accounting support experience preferred
  • Basic QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Automotive office experience is a plus, but not required

Preferred Schedule

  • Morning in-office hours preferred, approximately 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Evening remote hours may be available or required depending on business needs
  • Final schedule will be discussed during the interview

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $21.00 to $24.50 per hour, based on experience and skill level
