Data Entry Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist with a passion for fashion and retail to manage our e-commerce product catalog. You will be responsible for ensuring that every product on our website is presented accurately, professionally, and in a way that drives sales.

The ideal candidate understands the nuances of fashion (fabrics, fits, and trends) and can translate technical product information into clear, accurate digital listings.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Listing: Accurately upload and manage product data, including titles, SKUs, prices, and categories on our e-commerce platform.
• Fashion Technical Specs: Write and verify detailed product descriptions, including material composition, care instructions, and specific garment measurements.
• Size Guide Management: Ensure size charts and fit recommendations are precise to minimize customer returns.
• Quality Assurance: Audit the website regularly to fix typos, broken links, or incorrect pricing/stock levels.
• SEO Optimization: Incorporate basic keywords into product descriptions to improve search engine visibility.
• Image Coordination: Link the correct high-quality images (provided by the photography team) to the corresponding product listings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years in E-commerce data entry or Retail operations (Fashion industry experience is highly preferred).
• Fashion Knowledge: Solid understanding of garment construction, textile types, and international sizing (EU/UK/US).
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy; you are the final filter before a product goes live to the customer.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, basic formulas) and familiar with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar).
• Language: Excellent written English (Grammar and spelling are critical).
• Retail Mindset: Understanding of how product attributes (color, size, material) affect the customer’s buying journey.
