About The Job

The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and quality of organizational data. This role involves acting as a data architect, managing data compliance, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, with a focus on maintaining data governance standards, integrity and practices.


Job Responsibilities & Duties:

Data Architect:

 Design, develop, and manage data architecture to support organizational data needs.

 Create and maintain data models, ownership, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

 Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement data integration solutions.

Data Compliance:

 Ensure compliance with data-related regulations and policies, including data privacy and protection laws.

 Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data compliance and integrity.

 Monitor and report on data compliance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.

Data Quality:

 Establish and maintain data quality standards and best practices.

 Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify and resolve data quality issues.

 Develop and implement data quality improvement initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.


Required skills and qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.

 Minimum 4-5 years of experience in data governance, data architecture, data compliance, or data quality roles.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

 Knowledge about DAMA methodology

 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

 Strong organizational and time management skills.

 Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:

 Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

 Fluency in Arabic and English.
