Job Title: Data Integration Analyst

Location: While the location is posted as 69 W Washington, this role will be expected to travel to various courthouse locations throughout Cook County

General Description:
The Management Information Systems Department of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office is looking for a Data Integration Analyst to collaborate with staff across the office and help design data systems and processes that enhance data collection, transfer, insight generation, and operational implementation related to the work of the Cook County State’s Attorney. A DIA transforms raw data into actionable insights to support business decisions. They collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data using tools like Excel and Tableau. Key responsibilities include identifying trends, creating reports, and collaborating with teams to inform strategies. DIAs will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to increase public transparency about the office's activities, as well as developing innovative visualizations to improve user experience.
Working Environment and Reporting Structure:
The Data Integration Analyst will engage with prosecutors, administrative staff, and investigators throughout the office. They will report directly to the Chief Data Officer.

Beyond developing better internal systems around data, DIAs will also be responsible for helping develop and improve data sets and analysis for the public and as well as researchers who are working with the office. DIAs will spend part of their time providing technical training to individuals both within and outside of the office to better understand our methodologies and utilization of best practices as it relates to data sources, extraction, analysis, and visualization,

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
