JOB OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE : Data Lead

LOCATION : Doha, Qatar

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

· Lead TASMU Platform’s Data Governance, Data Management and Data acquisition and Data ingestion functions

· Manage, protect and analyze the data collected and generated by the organization

· COordinate the Data Team to ensure the respect of the data privacy & security standards

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Oversee the collection, management, and storage of data across TASMU Platform

· Set the overall data management and governance strategy of every channel

· Define the data acquisition strategy making sure that data is sanitized, elaborated and packaged in order to maximize its utilization.

· Ensure data escalation, resolution, integration & development in compliance with the data privacy & security standards

· Coordinate and manage a team of data architects, data engineers and data scientists (internal) teams to promote the power of data in TASMU Platform (external)

· Take responsibility for the data integration corresponding to customer onboarding and for creating data sharing agreements with the potential customers

· Drive project and operational decisions related to data - along with OC leadership, TASMU platform team, service providers and sectors within the Smart Qatar ecosystem

· Participate and take an active role in Smart Qatar data governance forums and committees

· Drive the ongoing evolution of the TASMU data architecture and data management capabilities throughout the entire products/smart solutions lifecycle in any channel of the Platform

SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Experience in the field of data governance, enterprise data management, business intelligence and advanced analytics preferably in the ICT sector or Smart City/Platform-driven projects

· Ability to outline clear directives to a team of data experts in a collaborative manner

· Proven track record of ensuring a sstrategic and business-oriented perspective of data management and monetisation

· Technical brainpower to assess and review data management capabilities

· Proven leadership and execution experience in large programs with multiple stakeholders

· Expertise in big data engineering, cloud data platform (preferably Azure), ML/AI concepts and techniques, data architecture and data governance domains (MDM, Data quality, data security, data integration etc.)
