Data Platform Lead

We are looking for a tech savvy, independent individual who can lead a small team of external developers, collaborate with global stakeholders to define data requirements, and deliver end-to-end projects on time and to quality standards. The role includes strong understand of the technology stack to support solution design across both Cloud and On-premises environments.

What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate a team of 1–2 external developers, providing clear direction on project planning and task prioritization

  • Collaborate with global functional stakeholders to gather data requirements and advise on best-in-class solutions

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and business objectives are met

  • Create and manage development tickets, manage the project backlog, and track progress to completion

  • Develop a strong understanding of the technology stack to support solutions design in both Cloud and On-premises.

What you bring

  • 7–9 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years leading Business Intelligence (BI) projects

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, global enterprise-level initiatives using Agile methodologies

  • Hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI stack and Azure Cloud technologies, including Databricks

  • Strong understanding of database and ETL concepts

  • Extensive experience in demand management, collaborating closely with internal business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable plans

  • Demonstrated expertise in risk, delivery, and dependency management, ensuring project transparency and alignment across internal teams.
