Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data from various sources (invoices, forms, records) into company databases, or spreadsheets with accuracy and speed
- Data validation: Checking input data for accuracy, completeness, and errors ensuring high-level security
- Data Management: Updating, retrieving, and organizing files
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and organize data sets, and generate reports that inform business strategies
- Conduct routine filing, data verification, and record-keeping to ensure all information is current and accessible
- Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, typing documents, and organizing digital or physical files
- Apply basic math skills for calculations related to data analysis
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or higher
- Proven experience with data entry, clerical work, or administrative support in an office environment
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Quickbooks, and data management software
- Familiarity with databases and data collection tools is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data processing, record-keeping and ability to handle confidential information
- Good typing speed and transcription skills for efficient documentation and excellent spelling skills
- Basic math knowledge for handling numerical data accurately
- Previous office experience involving filing, data collection, or administrative duties is preferred
