Data Product Engineer

Andrew Morgan, LLC is a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone-certified organization. We are seeking a qualified Data Product Engineer to support a potential contract award with a DOD Client. This role is contingent upon contract award and will play a critical part in our efforts to deliver exceptional results for this opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Data Product Engineer designs and operationalizes governed data products that enable consistent discovery, quality, and reuse across DHA domains.

• Design and implement governed data products aligned with DHA standards
• Support metadata enrichment, lineage documentation, and quality indicators
• Collaborate with domain owners and data stewards to refine product definitions
• Support lifecycle pilots and governance process testing
• Enable downstream analytics, AI, and reporting use cases

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience designing and managing enterprise data products or curated datasets for analytics or reporting
• Strong understanding of data product lifecycle concepts, including versioning, SLAs, and deprecation
• Experience applying metadata standards, semantic tagging, and lineage documentation
• Familiarity with data quality rules, validation frameworks, and governance checkpoints
• Ability to collaborate with domain owners, data stewards, and analytics teams
• Experience supporting downstream BI, analytics, or AI use cases
• Strong documentation and process discipline
• Eligibility for Tier 1 background investigation

SALARY:

Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.
