Data Specialist- FMCG

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret business data to support decision-making in our food production, sales, supply chain, and quality operations. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into meaningful insights to improve efficiency, reduce waste, increase profitability, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data related to sales, production, inventory, supply chain, and quality control
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and dashboards
• Monitor KPIs such as sales trends, wastage, cost efficiency, production yield, and stock turnover
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Support forecasting and demand planning using historical data
• Work closely with Operations, Finance, Production, Warehouse, and Sales teams
• Automate reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Python
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
• Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, IT, Business, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis (FMCG or food industry preferred)
• Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, SQL (Python is a plus)
• Experience with ERP systems, POS data, and inventory management systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Preferred Experience (Food Industry Advantage)
• Knowledge of food production metrics, shelf-life tracking, wastage analysis, and demand forecasting
• Experience analyzing retail sales, supermarket supply data, and product performance
• Understanding of cost control, margin analysis, and stock optimization
• Reduction in wastage and operational inefficiencies
• Improvement in sales forecasting accuracy
• Data-driven decision impact on profitability

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
