Overview

We’re working at the intersection of product design and data. As organisations become increasingly data-driven, the ability to transform complexity into clarity is critical. We’re looking for a designer who can go beyond dashboards and reports to shape product experiences where data plays a central role.

As a Senior / Lead Product Designer with a focus on data visualisation, you’ll be responsible for creating intuitive, impactful, and elegant data-driven experiences. You will design dashboards, reports, and interactive products that help users see patterns, understand insights, and make decisions with confidence. Beyond data visualisation, you’ll contribute to product design more broadly — journeys, UI, and interaction patterns — ensuring data is embedded seamlessly into the overall user experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design with clarity: create compelling, user-friendly dashboards, reports, and interactive data experiences.
  • Tell stories with data: Translate raw data and analysis into meaningful stories and visual narratives.
  • Shape products end-to-end: Contribute to product design from research and flows through to polished high-fidelity design in Figma.
  • Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with product leads, analysts, developers, and stakeholders to align on needs and solutions.
  • Build consistency: Develop and maintain design standards, templates, and components for data visualisation within our design system.
  • Design for everyone: Ensure accessibility, accuracy, and performance in all data-driven designs.
  • Push the craft forward: Bring fresh thinking from both product design and data visualisation trends to elevate the work.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven expertise: Experience as a Product Designer or Senior Designer with a strong emphasis on data visualisation.
  • Strong portfolio: Work that demonstrates product design craft, especially in dashboards, data-driven UI, and digital products.
  • Tool proficiency: Skilled in Figma, with experience in one or more visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Data literacy: Able to interpret, validate, and simplify complex datasets into clear user experiences.
  • Interaction design know-how: Understanding principles for data exploration and decision-making.
  • Great communicator: Excellent communication and storytelling skills for presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor & guide: Ability to operate independently while also mentoring and guiding junior designers.

Why this role is unique

This isn’t a back-office reporting role. It’s an opportunity to shape how people see, feel, and act on information — turning numbers into narratives and insights into experiences. You’ll design not only dashboards but also broader product experiences where data takes centre stage, setting a new standard for clarity and impact.
