Database Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) responsible for the administration, performance, availability, and security of enterprise databases across on-premises and cloud environments. This role ensures reliable database operations while supporting application teams, system integrations, and business continuity requirements. The ideal candidate will own database health end-to-end, from daily operations to optimization and disaster recovery.

Required Technical Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
• Solid understanding of backup, recovery, and HA/DR solutions
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of database security best practices
• Scripting experience (T-SQL, PowerShell preferred)
• Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL or similar)

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Clear communication with application and infrastructure teams

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years experience as a Database Administrator.
