Job Description:
Informix Sol is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the company’s database systems at our Al Dafna office in Doha. The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, security, and reliability to support business operations and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems and servers
• Monitor database performance and optimize efficiency
• Ensure data security, integrity, and backup/recovery processes
• Troubleshoot database issues and resolve technical problems
• Manage user access, permissions, and system security
• Perform regular database updates, patches, and maintenance
• Collaborate with IT and development teams on data-related requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database management systems, and data modeling
• Experience with database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage critical systems
