Role Overview

The Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing databases that support the company’s logistics and operational systems. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure data integrity and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to support application development and integration.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database architecture and processes.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and international data management standards.
• Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud-based databases and data migration is a plus.
• Familiarity with data security protocols and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Pay: Up to QAR32,000.00 per month
