We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Database Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database management, data processing, and automation using Python. You’ll be responsible for maintaining data integrity, optimizing database performance, and ensuring seamless data movement across systems.

Key Skills & Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Python programming
• Solid understanding of AWS Database Services such as Aurora (PostgreSQL) and RDS
• Experience in database scripting, stored procedures, data clean-up, and data migration
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and query optimization
• Familiarity with data pipelines, automation, and cloud data management workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot database issues and improve performance metrics
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and handling complex data transformations

Responsibilities:

• Write, review, and execute SQL and Python scripts for managing and transforming database systems
• Perform data validation, error handling, and data reconciliation to maintain accuracy and consistency
• Develop and maintain ETL jobs to support data migration and data integration projects
• Collaborate with application developers, data analysts, and cloud engineers to ensure efficient data flow
• Monitor and optimize database performance, manage indexing, and handle replication and backup strategies
• Create technical documentation for database processes, pipelines, and scripts
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
