Daycare Closing Position

We are looking for a reliable, energetic team member to help with our daycare closing shift. This position is about 50/50 — half of your time will be spent working directly with children, and the other half will be helping close and clean the center for the next day.

While working with the children, duties may include changing diapers, supervising play, helping with activities, going outside, and assisting teachers with whatever the day brings.

During closing time, staff work together to complete light cleaning tasks to prepare the center for the next morning. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping tables and chairs, and tidying classrooms and common areas. You will typically be closing alongside 2–3 other team members.

• Willing to complete light cleaning duties

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a background check
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Experience working with children preferred (daycare, school setting, babysitting, or similar experience)

Schedule: Approximately 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (we close at 5:30 PM, but closing tasks may take up to 30 minutes).
Hours: About 17–20 hours per week.
Pay: $13–$15 per hour depending on experience.

Training & Certifications
If you do not currently have required childcare certifications, administration will work with you to complete them after hire. These may include CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse & Neglect training, Shaken Baby Syndrome training, and other required childcare courses.
