We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Daycare Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team! Duties

• Assist in supervising and engaging children during playtime, learning activities, meals, and nap times across multiple classrooms
• Support lead teachers by helping implement lessons
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children by monitoring their activities and maintaining a clean, organized environment
• Help with diapering, feeding, and comforting infants and toddlers as needed
• Participate in classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and supporting social-emotional growth
• Cover breaks for lead staff or substitute in classrooms when necessary to ensure continuous supervision
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to foster a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Ability to work with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Experience in childcare settings such as daycare or nannying is highly valued
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
• First aid certification and CPR training to ensure safety in emergency situations
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
