Duties

• Assist lead teachers by supervising children during activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods across different classrooms.
• Support classroom management by helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that promote development in areas such as social skills, motor skills, and early learning concepts.
• Provide compassionate care by attending to individual needs, including diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to implement behavior management strategies and support positive interactions among children.
• Cover classrooms during staff absences or breaks to ensure continuous supervision and care.
• Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification is required if not already held.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs of children and staff.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward caregiving and teaching roles.
