Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This position requires an individual who is enthusiastic about childhood development and has experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in their care.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Manage classroom activities to create a positive and structured environment.
• Educate children on various subjects, including basic math, language skills, and social interaction.
• Provide care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their emotional and social growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall goals of the daycare.

Requirements

• Proven experience in daycare, preschool, or related caregiving roles.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an orderly environment.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to children's needs.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
• A nurturing attitude towards children with a commitment to their well-being.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required.
