Daycare Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing individual to join our team as a Daycare Teacher. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children in a safe and engaging environment. This position requires creativity, patience, and the ability to provide a structured learning experience for infants through preschool aged children.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to foster educational and social development.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naptime, and outdoor activities.
- Encourage positive behavior and teach basic manners and social skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing them with regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations.

(Preferred) Requirements:
- Minimum Associates in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- 1 year of experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
