Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher with EDU 119 credentials or equivalent childcare certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the developmental needs of young children.
Qualifications
- EDU 119 (Introduction to Early Childhood Education) credential required OR equivalent state-recognized childcare certification
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Criminal background check clearance
- Previous experience working with young children preferred
- Knowledge of child development and early learning standards
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise children at all times to ensure safety
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain daily communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and needs
- Observe and document developmental milestones
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies
- Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and other daily care routines
- Promote positive behavior using developmentally appropriate guidance techniques

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
