Duties

• Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times
• Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and potty training with patience and compassion
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns
• Apply behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among children
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans

Skills

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively through classroom management skills
• Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on nurturing and supporting diverse needs
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
• Familiarity with toddler care, infant care, and early childhood curriculum planning
