Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
Ted E Bear Academy is a nurturing, play-based early childhood center dedicated to creating a safe, joyful, and engaging learning envionment for children. We believe in building strong relationships with families and fostering a warm, team-oriented culture for our staff.

We are currently seeking a passionate, dependable, and energetic daycare teaching to join our growing team and facility.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
• Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and toilet training
• Monitor and manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and DHS/state childcare regulations, including first aid procedures and health regulations
• Maintain detailed records of children's activities, developmental milestones, and any incidents or concerns

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Certification in first aid and CPR is not required, but preferred
• Must pass background check
• Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience for working with diverse groups of children
• To meet the expectations of the job, must pass a yearly physical
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
