Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering young children's development and creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves leading classroom activities, managing daily routines, and supporting both children and fellow staff members to ensure a positive daycare experience. Candidates with a background in early childhood education, classroom management, and experience working with children of various age groups are encouraged to apply. A strong understanding of childhood development, behavior management, and safety protocols is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily activities for children in various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies.

Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones.

Collaborate with parents to communicate children's progress and address any concerns.

Support team members by providing guidance, mentorship, and training as needed.

Prepare nutritious snacks and assist with meal times in accordance with dietary guidelines.

Keep the classroom clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, including certifications such as first aid or special education training.
Experience:

Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is required.

Classroom management skills with demonstrated ability to lead a group of young children effectively.

Experience with infants, toddlers, or children with special needs or disabilities is preferred.

Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education curricula.

Experience with behavior management techniques and creating inclusive learning environments.

Previous roles such as nannying or babysitting that involve caregiving for young children are considered valuable assets.

Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is encouraged.
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay $21.56 - $23.97 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered.
