Daycare Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that fosters learning and development. The successful applicant will provide high-quality care and education to children from infancy to preschool age, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children and have a strong background in early childhood education.

Duties:

- Plan and implement engaging educational activities, games, and crafts for children from infant care to preschool age.
- Develop and maintain a safe and clean environment that promotes learning and exploration.
- Provide one-on-one and group care to children, including feeding, diapering, and administering first aid when necessary.
- Implement behavior management techniques to ensure a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and caregivers to provide a cohesive and comprehensive educational program.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating with parents as necessary.
- Provide special education and accommodations for children with special needs.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents to ensure that their children are receiving the care and education they need.

Qualifications:

- Experience in early childhood education, childcare, or nannying.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and educational practices.
- Ability to provide special education and accommodations for children with special needs.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Current certification in first aid and CPR.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry children and equipment as needed.
- 30 College Credits with 6 Early Childhood Education with 1 year experience or 60 College Credits with 6 Early Childhood Education Credits.
