Daycare Teacher

Job Overview

Duties

  • Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development tailored to each child's needs.
  • Facilitate engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques to support diverse learning styles.
  • Manage daily classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
  • Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing standards to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and specialists in special education to support children’s individual development plans and welfare.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, behavior management logs, and lesson plans.
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies that promote respectful interactions and emotional growth among children.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within early childhood education environments.
  • Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies.
  • Experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Ability to implement physical education activities and support overall child welfare initiatives.
