Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Facilitate engaging classroom activities that support childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Provide attentive toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring safety at all times.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children’s progress, developmental needs, and classroom updates.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment aligned with childcare standards and safety regulations.
- Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when appropriate.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Ability to develop lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development techniques across various subjects including literacy, math, and physical education.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of special education needs and early intervention programs is a plus.
- Certification in childcare or early childhood education (such as CDA or equivalent) is desirable; ongoing professional development encouraged.
