Daycare Teacher

Job description: Pay rate is based on experience, certifications, and other factors.

Must be able to work in a Huntsville location. 1920 Sparkman Drive, 35816.

Must be willing to train as a childcare professional, becoming familiar with early childhood development as well as keeping antidotal notes on individual children's progress. Observe and monitor children's play activities. Follow assigned curriculum and instructions. Organize, teach and participate with all daily classroom activities and recreational outdoor play. Instruct children in health and safety as well as personal hygiene habits. Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in the classroom. Ensure children are clean, diapered and clothes are changed as needed. Help after school children with homework if applicable. Perform daily overall housekeeping duties as instructed. Sanitize toys and equipment daily. Support children's social, emotional and physical development. Identify signs of emotional or developmental delays to bring to the Directors attention.
