Daycare Teacher (full time) & (part time)

<Responsibilities>

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth for children across various developmental stages.
  • Create a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
  • Engage with children through interactive lessons, play-based activities, and hands-on learning experiences tailored to individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention strategies.
  • Monitor and document each child's progress using standardized assessments and observational techniques to inform ongoing lesson planning and support their developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other staff members to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety standards and promotes child welfare at all times.
  • Support the development of foundational skills such as literacy education, numeracy (including math), and physical activity through engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education best practices.

<Requirements>

  • Proven classroom experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
  • Experience with curriculum development that incorporates Montessori or other educational philosophies like early intervention or special education methods.
  • Familiarity with teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and standardized testing procedures for early learners.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and children’s support teams.
  • Ability to plan lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to diverse learning needs including toddlers care and preschool experience.
  • Certification or training in early childhood education is preferred; familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
