Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Daytime Host to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and hospitality expertise will help foster a lively environment that keeps guests excited and satisfied throughout their visit. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, setting the tone for their experience
• Manage guest check-ins and reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions, offering recommendations, and addressing concerns promptly
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth flow of service during busy daytime hours
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Assist in managing waitlists, seating arrangements, and communicating wait times accurately to guests

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food service operations and guest relations best practices
