A Safety and Loss Prevention Coordinator provides essential back-end support to ensure the DC’s safety and security programs run efficiently. This role focuses on "glue" of the department, focusing on documentation, record-keeping, and regulatory reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
- LP office tasks such as managing LP and Safety reports, data entry, and files in an organized manner
- Managing Card Access Systems, PIT Certifications, Key Holders, and Locker/Lock Assignment
- Scheduling PIT Training Sessions in the Classroom and Practical Training
- Conducting Safety Topics in New Hire Orientations
- Greeting visitors and notifying expecting parties of arrival
- Assigning Handicap Decals for individuals with validated need
- Additional administrative tasks required for business needs
- Elite ability to handle and preserve the integrity of personal or confidential information
- Maintain good working relationships between Loss Prevention, Human Resources Department, and Operations
- Keep close communication with Loss Prevention Manager and Safety Manager
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence and memos
- Key written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel/SharePoint
- Self-Starter/Self Motivator
- Highly organized, detailed and efficient
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Education and Requirements:
- At least 2 years of similar experience in an office/distribution environment
- High School Diploma/GED required and/or College Degree Preferred
