Assist with sourcing new prospective investors and deals as well as overseeing all aspects of investment processes including evaluation, negotiation, documentation, structuring, approval, deal execution and communicate with all transaction parties.
- Provide technical input on all transactions
- Support in marketing debt product offerings to corporate, financial institutions and government clients
- Handle all operations prior to issuance for subscription process and all legal documents
- Monitor all processes post the issuance through all parties
- Maintain a high degree of trust with clients during execution and grow rapport with clients by demonstrating an understanding of their needs and being responsive
- Adhere to the company’s approach and policies for managing risks and applicable legal and regulatory rules
- Proactively participate in communicating information, knowledge, and ideas to promote team success
- Provide analytical & modelling support, structuring ideas, financing agreement negotiation support, and supervise all aspects of transaction execution
- Monitor the activities with underwriter, rating agency, auditor, legal counsel, custodian and other transaction parties’ engagements
- Coordinate with advisors in the preparation of financial, legal and rating documents as well as the transaction prospectus
- Prepare structures to assist various clients to raise funds through various DCM structures
- Monitor team performance through appropriate performance planning, coaching, and performance reviews
- Implement new methodologies to improve all Debt Capital Market services related processes
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or relevant
- A credit course is a must
- Certificate in Advanced Fixed income is preferred
- Master’s Degree and CFA credentials are preferred
- 7 to 9 years of relevant experience within investment banking, projects financing or corporate risk
- Knowledge of preparing and reviewing financial models for projects
- Knowledge of macroeconomic and financial analysis
- Familiarity with the legal aspects of the companies and investment law, policies of the Financial Regulatory Authority, the Central Bank of Egypt, and the applicable economic laws related to investment
