Allocate direct and indirect costs to relevant activities accurately
Monitor and analyze costs related to core food operations: direct and indirect track input costs (Material-Packaging Materials-Labor Cost-Manufacturing Overhead) and ensure alignment with usage.
Ensure that current BOMs on ERP are up to standard and up to date.
Ensure accuracy of direct material cost and application of the related pricing method.
Prepare monthly costing reports of the raw material used.
Review all MOH expenditure to ensure proper allocation and ensure that all unpaid expenses are accrued for.
Prepare purchase price variance and material usage variance and challenge the reason for that variance for accountability and better future results.
Calculate the cost of daily casual labor and allocate it to cost centers and compare actual costs against budget costs and investigate variances.
Prepare monthly, and quarterly cost reports by SKU.
Deliver cost analysis and recommendations to help control spending and improve efficiency.
Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate cost tracking.
Mentor junior accountants and review their work to ensure quality and accuracy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Good to Very Good level of English
7+ years of relevant experience.
Prior experience in food industries and solid understanding of food and operational cost accounting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
Very good level in Excel and Odoo
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
