Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Accountant to join our company. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, process transactions, and ensure accuracy and compliance by handling tasks like accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate ledgers, assisting with audits, and communicating with vendors and clients, all while staying current on accounting standards. .

Responsibilities

•⁠ Maintain financial records: Keep accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, and receipts.

•⁠ Process transactions: Record and verify financial transactions, process invoices, payments, and reimbursements for accounts payable and receivable.

•⁠ Reconcile accounts: Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy.

•⁠ Financial reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and spreadsheets.

•⁠ Assist with audits: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving discrepancies.

•⁠ Communicate: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients to resolve discrepancies, confirm charges, and discuss account statuses.

•⁠ Assist with taxes: Prepare and file tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.

•⁠ Support month-end and year-end close: Assist with the closing of financial records at the end of reporting periods.

Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field is often required.

•⁠ ⁠3+ years of experience in Wood flooring accounting (is a plus) or it can be in Marble & Furnitures.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and solve accounting problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From E£15,000.00 per month
