Job Summary

Bizwave is seeking a Debt Collector based in Karachi to manage and recover outstanding payments from clients of our UAE real estate portfolio. The role involves client follow-ups, payment negotiations, accurate reporting, and coordination with UAE-based finance and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Follow-Up

• Contact clients via phone, WhatsApp, email, and CRM systems regarding overdue payments.
• Follow up on post-dated cheques (PDCs), installment defaults, and outstanding service charges.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements in line with company policy.
• Ensure timely reminders before due dates and consistent follow-ups after default.

Client Communication

• Maintain professional and respectful communication with international (UAE-based) clients.
• Address payment disputes and billing queries with clarity.
• Escalate non-responsive or high-risk cases to management or legal teams.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of calls, emails, commitments, and payment promises.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
• Update accounts receivable status in ERP/CRM systems.
• Coordinate with UAE finance teams for payment reconciliation.

Compliance & Ethics

• Ensure collection activities comply with UAE regulations and company standards.
• Follow ethical collection practices at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in debt collection, credit control, or receivables.
• Experience handling UAE or GCC clients is a strong advantage.
• Real estate collections experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent English speaking and writing ability (Arabic is a plus).
• Comfortable handling difficult conversations and payment discussions.
• Proficient in MS Excel, email, and CRM systems.
• Ability to work with international time zones.
