Accountant (Onsite, Karachi)

Requirements:

  • BS in Accounting and Finance.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience in a corporate or professional environment.
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial processes.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software and strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records.
  • Professional approach with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, and follow-ups.
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly financial summaries and supporting schedules for internal reporting.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and audit-ready financial records.
  • Assist in preparation of tax workings, filings, and regulatory documentation.
  • Use accounting software and MS Excel for transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with vendors to verify financial data and resolve accounting issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
