Delegate Sales Intern

Our event organizing division hosts high-profile events such as MECOC EXPO, MEICA EXPO and AIMCS EXPO supported by leading national and international oil companies, industry service providers, and key government bodies.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Selling delegate places for events/conferences
• Learning about the companies and job roles for this industry to ensure you sell to the right people
• Conducting thorough research to source new leads relevant to each event
• Effectively contact all key prospects by telephone
• Database management
• Ability to manage basic negotiations, handle objections and close sales
• International travel, as required (to attend conferences)

CANDIDATE REQUIRED SKILL SET & EXPERIENCE:

• Good communication skills and confident telephone manner are essential
• Previous sales experience would be highly desirable
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Confident approach in dealing with senior contacts
• Positive, enthusiastic, outgoing and determined to succeed
• Articulate in written and spoken English
• Willing to learn and develop
• Proactive and tenacious attitude
• Strong team player with a strong initiative and able to work individually
• Ambition to work hard and build a career via internal progression

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
