1. Greet customers and assist them in selecting deli products.

2. Receive goods under the original local purchase order, using HHT/PDT only.

3. All refrigerated/frozen products must be received according to standard temperature guidelines.

4. Always maintain a record of vehicle and product temperatures.

5. Arrange for storage of goods after receipt according to designated areas/categories.

6. Check expiration dates upon receipt in accordance with company policy.

7. All damaged, expired, or excess promotional products must be returned to RTS within the agreed timeframe.

8. Ensure that the maximum possible supply of deli products is available on display for customer service.

9. Identify products that need replenishment, obtain sufficient inventory, prepare, and display them.

10. Identify shortages in the department and inform the department supervisor.

11. Ensure counter displays appear full and fresh. Always shop products as directed by the supervisor or shift manager.

12. Always remove spoilage, mold, and expired products from the display and plan subsequent actions.

13. Replenish pre-packaged or in-store stock.

14. Always follow the "First In, First Out" and "First Out" policies to maintain freshness and hygiene standards in the deli department.

15. Use the date code policy when receiving/storing stock in a backup cooler.

16. Check daily deliveries against packing slips and the quality of the merchandise received and inform the department supervisor of any quality issues or shortages.

17. Adhere to the company's customer service standards policy.

18. Always report any concerns, advice, suggestions, or new ideas to your supervisor/shift manager.

19. Do not use a mobile phone while working or in the workshop.

20. Operate hazardous equipment, such as the shredder, mincer, bin saw, and packaging machine, with care and caution. Ensure you receive proper training from your supervisor before using all machinery.

21. Keep the deli section and cold rooms clean and tidy.

22. Provide information about products to the customer.

23. Assist with inventory counting and restocking supplies as needed.

24. Report shortages or product issues to the Deli Supervisor.

25. Work collaboratively with other deli staff to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From BD230.000 per month
