Delivery Helper

Job Summary:
We are looking for a hardworking and physically fit Delivery Helper to support our Central Kitchen operations. The role involves receiving deliveries, unloading goods, lifting heavy items, organizing stock, and ensuring ingredients and supplies are properly stored in the storeroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving daily deliveries and supplies at the Central Kitchen.
• Unload and move heavy items such as vegetable crates, flour bags, rice sacks, oil cans, and kitchen supplies from delivery trucks to the storeroom.
• Organize and arrange stock properly in designated storage areas.
• Support inventory handling and stock rotation (FIFO method).
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the storage and receiving area.
• Assist kitchen/store team with moving ingredients and supplies when required.
• Check delivered items for quantity and visible damage before storing.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards while handling food items and materials.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items regularly.
• Prior experience in kitchen, warehouse, delivery support, or store handling is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a responsible attitude.
• Basic understanding of stock handling is a plus.
