POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Delivery Senior Manager at Fontainebleau Las Vegas will be responsible for delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. This role combines strong leadership and coaching capabilities with deep expertise in program management, Agile methodologies, and software development practices. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for developing talent, driving operational excellence, and delivering impactful technology programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of TPMs, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development support tailored to individual and team needs
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation
  • Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale, cross-functional technical programs aligned with business goals
  • Ensure consistent application of program management best practices, including Agile (Hybrid), Scrum, and SDLC methodologies
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively
  • Drive adoption and optimization of tools such as Jira and Confluence for program tracking, documentation, and collaboration
  • Also work as a Technical Program Manager, setting the example and standards for the Delivery team
  • Establish and refine program management frameworks, tools, and reporting standards.
  • Monitor program health and team performance using KPIs and data-driven insights
  • Identify and resolve systemic issues, continuously improving delivery processes and team efficiency
  • Create a culture of clear, quality, concise, and timely communications, while strategically using the various communication tools, including email, chat, wikis, gantt charts, and slideware
  • Serve as a key liaison between TPMs and senior leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities and outcomes
  • Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies clearly and proactively.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making across engineering, product, and vendor teams

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering leadership, with 3+ years in a people management role
  • Proven experience coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of Agile development, SDLC, and program management best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and other program management tools
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing complex software or systems engineering initiatives


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications
  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed technology organization, ideally delivering a variety of software solutions
  • Worked in companies at different levels of operational maturity (startups, growth, established)


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position oversees a team of Technical Program Managers.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
