Demand & Allocation Manager

Tchibo is a unique company because it operates both as a retailer and coffee shop, and also sells its FMCG branded products through retail chains and its own online store. Initially having focused more on non-food retail in Turkey, over recent years Tchibo Turkey has emphasised its coffee heritage and expertise in its local offering.


We’re looking for a Demand & Allocation Manager to join our growing organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Building collaborative demand plan by analyzing existing processes and making suggestions for improvement.
  • Lead S&OP and S&OE processes through data analysis and drive consensus at both local and global levels.
  • Coordinate all communications with HQ and the facility to ensure timely confirmation of product orders.
  • Maintain a high level of collaboration with the Supply Chain Department to develop and optimize the product import process.
  • Challenge and consolidate regular, promotional, and new product launch forecasts provided by the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Monitor stock levels of product groups on a regular basis.
  • Track returns from all sales channels and collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to implement actions that reduce return rates.
  • Tracking returns from all sales channels, taking action to reduce the returns with sales & marketing teams.
  • Monitoring order fulfillment rate for all key accounts ( Brands , E-Commerce and Coffee Service ).
  • Managing allocation processes for all the channels.
  • Oversee inventory management and deliver monthly presentations to top management.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (preferably engineering field).
  • Min. 7 years of experience in planning in Retail or FMCG (preferably food category).
  • Ability to build positive relations and work collaboratively with several teams.
  • SAP knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to solve complex problems in a structured and methodical manner.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management.
