ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB

  • The Demand Planner supports the Demand Planning Manager by developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts.
  • This role focuses on data analysis, statistical forecasting, and collaboration with sales and finance teams to ensure reliable demand plans.

ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze historical sales and supply data to support accurate forecasting.
  • Use statistical tools to generate baseline forecasts and identify trends.
  • Collect feedback from sales and other relevant teams to refine demand plans.
  • Prepare and submit demand plans in planning systems, supporting consensus-building led by the Demand Planning Manager.
  • Assist in scenario planning by providing data and analysis on risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and optimize service levels.
  • Support reporting activities and ensure data accuracy for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and process efficiency.

    • Forecast accuracy and bias reduction.
    • Timely and accurate reporting of demand data.
    • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Execution of action plans for at-risk inventory as directed by the Demand Planning Manager.

    ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

    • University degree, preferably in areas of Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields
    • Minimum 2-3 years in Planning, Sales Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience in data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
    • Familiarity with statistical forecasting methods and scenario planning.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
    • IT literacy, including SAP and commercial planning platforms.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams.
    • Initiative and attention to detail.
    • Learning agility.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Understanding of integrated business planning and S&OP governance.
    • Desirable skill: understanding of AI.
    • Strong MS Excel/MS Access skills; VBA knowledge as an asset.
    • Advanced English language skills.
