Demand Planner (Beauty and Skin care) - Xbeauty

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models to predict future demand for beauty and skin care products.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to identify patterns and improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with global sales and marketing teams to incorporate insights on new product launches, promotions, and market dynamics into demand forecasts
• Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain teams to optimize stock and minimize excess inventory.
• Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory metrics, and demand trends for management.
• Participate in monthly S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align demand forecasts with production and financial plans.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance demand planning efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in the beauty or luxury goods industry.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with demand planning software.
• Knowledge of the cosmetics and skin care industry and global beauty market trends is a plus
