We are looking for a Demand Planning Specialist (Export) to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing export demand planning and forecasting activities, improving forecast accuracy, and supporting production and supply decisions through close collaboration with regional and internal stakeholders.

Details of the role are as follows:

Main Responsibilities:

Leading export demand planning, forecasting processes & control tower between Export Countries for their supply figure & time to Istanbul Mill and its capabilities to meet and improve service level,
Managing export demand forecasts using SAP Tools to understand, analyze variations for Istanbul Mill and be the communication bridge for short & long term solutions between Production Planning Team and Export Countries,
Collaborating closely with Export Sales, Production Planning, Customer Service and Finance teams to reflect demand changes and update forecast plans accordingly,
Owning and improving service level and forecast accuracy at country and product level; as well as leading inventory in aligned inventory strategy,
Monitoring production requirements, backlog & advanced shipments, promo, NPD and exit items and proactively identifying risks such as out-of-stock or slow-moving stock, supporting S&OE and S&OP discussions with clear insights.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Supply Chain Management Master’s degree is an asset),
Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning (preferably within FMCG and/or export operations),
Excellent command of written and spoken English,
Strong knowledge of MS Office and SAP,
Proficiency in demand forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis, and tools such as SAP and Arkieva,
Strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills,
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
