Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Demonstrator in Basic Sciences with at least two years of experience to join its academic team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality practical and laboratory demonstrations in core subjects such as anatomy, physiology, and microscopy to enhance student comprehension and engagement. The ideal candidate possesses strong presentation skills and a thorough understanding of foundational sciences to effectively communicate complex concepts in an accessible manner. In addition to instructing students during practical sessions, the Demonstrator plays a vital role in the development, administration, and evaluation of various assessments designed to monitor student progress and understanding throughout the academic term. The Demonstrator actively participates in departmental operations by managing resources, supporting examination processes, and assisting the Head of Department with daily management activities. This position requires a proactive individual committed to creating a supportive learning atmosphere while continuously updating their knowledge of basic sciences to maintain the delivery of current and relevant educational content. While this role does not involve team management, it demands excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students at Riphah International University.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and informative practical demonstrations in anatomy, physiology, microscopy, and related basic sciences to facilitate student learning.
• Create, administer, and evaluate tests, quizzes, and tutorials that effectively measure students academic progress and comprehension.
• Assist in managing departmental resources, including inventory control and ensuring the availability of materials necessary for all practical sessions.
• Develop an internal evaluation framework at the end of each academic session to assess and document student learning outcomes accurately.
• Support the organization and execution of annual examinations by preparing exam materials, coordinating logistics, and maintaining procedural compliance.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department to support daily departmental management responsibilities that contribute to efficient operations.
• Provide personalized guidance and assistance during practical sessions to encourage hands-on learning and deepen students understanding of scientific principles.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment by engaging with students, addressing their concerns, and promoting active participation.
• Maintain and continuously improve personal expertise in basic sciences through ongoing professional development and staying informed of advancements in the field.
